The 2022 CMT Artists of the Year ceremony will premiere on Oct. 14, and all the stars showed up to the pre-taping of the event in style. Kelsea Ballerini stunned in a glamourous yellow floor-length gown on Oct. 12. 

This year, honorees Alan Jackson, Carly Pearce, Cody Johnson, Kane Brown, and Lainey Wilson will perform. Pop icon Ciara teamed up with Walker Hayes for a collaboration that will premiere exclusively at Friday’s event. In addition, Riley Green is set to honor Luke Combs with an exclusive new performance.

CMT also announced Chris Stapleton, Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Dan + Shay, Dustin Lynch, Gary LeVox, Kelsea Ballerini, Kelsey Asbille + Shane McAnally as this year’s presenters. All of the musicians gathered at Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center, for the pre-taping on Oct. 12., however, audiences can tune in to the show on Oct. 14 at 9p/8c.
